Pulmuone Orga Whole Foods to Hold ‘Eco-friendly Green Festa’ until the 26th

[Field News = Reporter Tae Gi-won] Pulmuone Orga Whole Foods announced on the 13th that it will hold the ‘Eco-friendly Green Festa’ exhibition, where the differentiated value of eco-friendly and organic ingredients can be felt, for two weeks until the 26th at major stores nationwide and its online mall to spread a sustainable food culture.

This exhibition was planned jointly with the Eco-friendly Agricultural Products Mandatory Self-help Fund Management Committee. A total of 16 types of organic and eco-friendly products, including 10 fresh food items and 6 processed food items, have been carefully selected and presented. 

The Eco-friendly Agricultural Products Mandatory Self-help Fund Management Committee is an organization that launched in 2016 to promote the value of eco-friendly agricultural products and perform tasks such as expanding sales channels, regulating supply and demand, and conducting education and R&D.

Since 2008, Orga has been operating the ‘Orga Meister’ certification system, which selects producers who cultivate high-quality organic agricultural products according to strict evaluation standards as masters. In this exhibition, high-quality organic agricultural products cultivated by Meisters are selected and presented. 

‘Organic Blueberries’ cultivated by Meister Kim Seong-uk in Dangjin, Chungnam, using natural farming methods on hills boast excellent sweetness and rich aroma, and ‘Meister Organic Yukbo Strawberry Jam,’ which adds only sugar to organic Yukbo strawberries cultivated by Meister Kwak Mu-hyeon, who has been growing organic strawberries for two generations in Goryeong, Gyeongbuk, is also being sold.

‘Organic Milqueen White Rice,’ cultivated by Meister Jo Jung-gi using the snail farming method amidst the clear water and air of Cheol-won, Gangwon, offers a taste differentiated from regular white rice with its chewy texture and clean flavor.

During the event period, Orga will offer up to 20% discounts on a total of 16 types of organic and eco-friendly products, including 10 fresh food items and 6 processed food items. The exhibition will take place at major offline stores nationwide (Bangyi, Bangbae, Kangnam) and within the Orga Mall in the official online mall ‘Shop Pulmuone.’

On the Orga Whole Foods official Instagram, an SNS event is also being held where participants can win Dangjin, Chungnam organic blueberries by leaving comments.
